Hello. As desceibed in the title I'm here to help you buy and sell comic books. One way is for fun. If you like a certain series of comic books for pure enjoyment buy some newer issues or old issues in poor condition just so you can read them. There are many ways and stratagies you can buy and sell for profit. We'll use Spider-Man comics for examples in this field. First learn about the series, heros, villians etc. This way you can buy and sell based on popularity. The next step is learning what issues feature fist appearences. For example since Spider-Man 2 and X-Men hit movie theaters Magneto and Dr. Octopuses first appearence comics featured huge price increases. Next once you figure out what issues you want shop around the internet. Use Froogle or e-Bay to find reasonable or cheap prices for these comics. Also be aware some people sell fakes so examine the pictures carefully. While we're on the subject be aware of condition. Most Price Guides give estimated price in Mint Condition. If a comic is worth $300 in mint condition and you find one for $300 with missing pages or torn spine look around somewhere else. If you want to wait for a large profit buy new issues that have a lot of new characters or hype surrounding it such as issue # 1, 50 ,100 etc. then get it when it hits stanf=ds at the local convienence store and save it in mint condition somewhere until it will be worth a profit. It is also a well known fact that old comics become more valuable as time goes on. Amazing Fantasy # 15 (Spider-Mans debut) was worth 10 cents in 1963. Today mint issues are fetching $30,000 or more! Have old comics from the 30's, 40's, 50's or 60's? Search for an appreciated value. You just may be the next millionaire!
