Colors in Wicca using stained pieces glass for magick...was a creation based on a book about doing Wicca on the cheap and where burning candles is not permitted. they suggested using anointing oils on a window ledge- the sun as heat source. We thought stained glass bits would contain the oils and the color of the glass would add a nice dimension and beauty.
Green glass tiles...
Adding color to Wicca craft can be done a number of ways.
For one, you can imagine color in the smoke, as in green color for a money spell.
Green:
Money, business, fertility, good fortune, gorwth, abundance, healing, and success.

A nice alter or special area can be created with stained glass..this is just temproarily hung using a chain and window latches. We added a spring bar for safety..and even some glass tiles..
Ok..so this is not our real Wicca area....but you get the idea.
On the ledge below (and other places) is a number of glass squares we use in our craft...set the candles on...or place oils/gemtones upon.
-
Colors can be gemstones
-
crayons broken blended with beeswax to make candles (use cooking oil to release the mold)
-
Silk cloth is used for annointing oils. the color complementing/corresponding/enhancing the scent.
-
Robes are used.
-
Silk cords are used. Sometimes to cast the circle.in multiples of three. 9 feet is typical length.
-
Shorter cords are used to tie knots as you chant in craft (see love spell in our What is Wicca guide)
Grey:
Neutral color useful when pondering complex issues during meditation; in magic, this color often sparks confusion; it also negates or neutralizes a negative influence.
Hope this inspires your Wicca to add colors to your craft.
