Obsession for collection
Flyers where mailed out years ago, to help educate operators into buying the new machines to put in there high traffic location's, in the amusement industry. Alot of these flyers got thrown out as soon as the game went out on location. That is why flyers are growing in popularity as they are getting to be a challenge to find in clean condition.
I started at the age of 18 collecting coin operated games and flyers and jukebox brochures. At first it was fun just to own the matching flyer for the game, I framed them but quickly ran out of wall space. Later on when I began restoring machines, it was very handy having the flyers for a referance, as to the orginal colours, and seeing if a game had been restored correctly.
.
As the pricing continues to climb on coin operated games, so will the flyers in time. I hope you enjoy collecting as much as I have over the past many years.
