Pyrex is a tempered glass. It is strong, durable, and works in the microwave, the oven or convention oven! It is versatile! You can prepare your favorite dish remove it from the oven and place it directly on the table and serve. If your family is delayed, you can place the completed casserole with its lid into the warming draw. An hour later it still retains the juicy moist texture and flavor! Don’t have a warming drawer, just pop it into your microware- with no power or low power setting – it to retains the flavorful moist yummy taste it had when it was completed.

It is decorative! You can find on any given day over 50 patterns and colors right here on EBay! You don’t have to remove it to a serving piece of china, it looks pretty right in it’s decorative designed container. No need to dirty another serving piece of you china . Cleanup is also a snap!
