When  looking for a action figure line to invest into do your research. There are a lot of toy lines out there today. The best way to start is by going to yard sales, flea markets and toy conventions.I am a toy collector.I love DC Comics toys.I love the Avengers,Spiderman, and most Marvel toy lines .I am a collector of vintage toys mostly. The love of toys started when I was little playing with Star Wars and GI JOE.My friends and I would act out the movies and the TV shows. This was back when they made the actual figures as they appeared on the movie or show.GI JOE was the best in the 1980's.I think I had every toys line back in the day.Secret Wars,Super Powers,Star Wars,Battle Beast,MOTU and more.Masters of the Universe was a great toy line too.All of the toys were well made, bright colors and moved too. This was when toys were made for kids and not collectors. They flood the market today with what will make millions. The first toy line was Mego Super Heroes for me and some of my cousin's 1960's GI JOE.My mom put those up right away.I played with Super Joe instead.
Loose action figures let you create scenes and move your item to fit your space.Plus the price for newer stuff will drop once it is open.Kids don't keep things long today.I still have the toys I had as a kid. There are a lot of families cleaning out closets, antics, and basements.Make sure they are in great shape before purchase. Some action figures can be wore very bad when a boy played with them like they were meant to be.They may be missing accessories too but a great collector keeps everything. So if you find a collector who just got married, brought a house and new car  the toys are gone.He will have a great start up or finishing collection for you.Now go out there and find those loose action figures. They are everywhere for toy boxes to antique stores too.Good luck searching for all of those great toys.
