I absolutely love Cole Haan products. They do not get the credit they deserve for their quality and high-end details.

The Cole Haan company began in Chicago during 1928. They are truly a US company with their headquarters in Yarmouth, Maine, and design headquarters in NYC.

The name comes from Trafton COLE and Eddie HAAN who prided themselves in quality, craftmanship, and style. 

Cole Haan was sold to Nike in 1988. In 2006, they launched Cole Haan Nike Air dress shoes,  which are pure confort. A pregnant Angelina Jolie sported a pair, while pregnant and attending 2008 Cannes Film Festival. They have also been featured on the Oprah Winfrey show.

This August, Cole Haan celebrates its 80th anniversary.  The company still prides itself in producing high-end shoes, boots, handbags, belts, hoisery, sunglasses, and small leather goods.  Near and dear to my heart, in February, 2008, Cole Haan stopped using animal fur in its products.
