My past buying on ebay has been in the coins and bullion, But buying has not been a fun thing when you get lied to all the time from sellers just wanting to get rid of all the junk coins they have purchased. Some are saying un searched coin lot which sounds good to a buyer looking to find some deals on old coins. The problem is that you are buying coins that have been gone through by every one in the book. When all the coins are in the same bad condition and all the good years have been taken out. How can a seller say that they are unsearched coins. I havn't found a seller yet that is selling un searched coins on ebay, so buyers beware of the truth and all of their junk coins... Now we come to the part of unopened Mint coin sets. For one thing it has been proven over and over that the mint does not seal the envalopes on mint sets. People out there are saying they are unopened from the mint which can't be. Now maybe somone sealed the package before that person bought it but unopened mint sealed sets, it's a bunch of bull. The most you can hope for is that you get a set of coins that has not seen to many bad days. Now we come to the most important part of this Guide for all who want to collect coins. When you sell a coin it is not right to say that the coin is a grade AU, BU or MS unless you have the certification to back it up. Not to even guess the grade unless you are a grader or proffessinal coin dealer who knows. People are out there saying this coin is $1500@ MS 65 When the coin is in know shape to even be graded. They will say their coin is in MS condition when it can't even pass the first test for MS condition and that is nicks on the side of the coin.  Grading is a art and only the best coins desirve MS status and you should not say your coin is MS or AU, BU when it has been in the hand of many people and if not in yours more times than a MS coin would be before it becomes only a EF or F if that.

So please if we are going to make ebay a place for buying choice goods and coins are choice goods if you can get past all the bull and lies and Grades that are not........  Thank you Chuck
