When selling clothing....always have the clothes Clean..yeah, i know, sounds pretty silly to have to say it, but you'd be surprised...Point out ANY rips, tear, or stains...if you don't, it will come around and bite you in the end.
Be TOTALLY honest..you'll be surprised how many more people will bid when they know you are being honest!
NEVER put clothing on the floor when you take your pictures, if you can help it..i recently bought a manequin for around $10 and it boosted my clothing sales A LOT...people want to see what the clothes will look like on a person..not flat on the floor...(took me aobut 2 years to finally break down and believe it..but it's true!)
Watch your size of the lots...if they are too big, shipping prices will steer bidders away! Try to use FLAT rate boxes from USPS.COM as much as possible...for LARGE lots of clothes...keep them priced low if the shipping is high..you HAVE to take into consideration that they buyer will bid less if he has to pay HIGH shipping....
I like to keep shipping below $25 if having a Big lot for sale...I also group all the name brands together, then sell them AFTER i have sold a BIG lot of Non-name brand clothes...it seems to always work out better that way..not sure why.
Good luck! Happy eBaying!
