Cloth diapers...DON'T BOTHER.  When using cloth diapers the only advantage is that they are friendly to the enviroment.  The only way you can save money is by washing them yourself, and even that cost money.  The best thing to do is when you have your baby shower write in the invitation to bring a specific size diaper.  Have some people bring newborn, have some bring size 1, have some bring size 2 etc.  Let them know if they bring diapers they will be entered in a drawing for a great prize.  Maybe a gift card for $50 to a restaurant, or for a massage, or something really nice.  That way everyone brings you diapers and you don't have to buy any (at least not for awhile).  But if you decide to use cloth diapers just remember they also make excellent burp rags...
