We have long heard that disposable diapers are filling up our land fills. Now with the latest inovations in cloth diapering we can do something about the problem and still have the ease that is needed for today's lifestyle. This guide will explain why cloth diapers are by far the best decision for our planet, our children, and our future
For many people it is the "ick" factor that keeps them from using cloth diapers. For those people I propose the thought that it is far more "icky" to think that in 20 years their babies diaper will still be sitting in a landfill. Another factor that plays a role in detouring potential cloth diaperers is that fact that they think it is too time consuming. This is a non-factor now with products like MAGICALLS, WONDEROOS, and FUZZI BUNZ that make cloth diapering as easy as disposables. Still other people are concerned cloth diapers will allow babies skin to become irritated due to the exposure to mositure. Once again this fear is put to rest by the new innovations in cloth. The diapers now use inserts that wick away mositure from babies skin and because they don't use chemicals to stay dry like disposables do, they are by far better for babies skin. The final problem most people have when it comes to deciding to go cloth is with the innitial cost of the diapers. Although 15 dollars a diaper seems to be steep at first if you factor in all the disposables you would need from birth to potty training age the savings is still upward to 1500 dollars. These factors and more are what convinced me to go cloth and I hope that they help you an informed decision too.
