If you are wanting to use cloth diapers but are at a loss for what to use as a pail. . . Look no farther than you kitchen trash can. I use a plastic Rubbermaid, kitchen trashcan for a diaper pail. It is big, strong, waterproof, and has a handy petal to open it. I use mine as a wet pail, so it gets heavy, my response to this is to have my diaper station in my bathroom. My pail is next to the shower. I use the handheld head to fill it. And I can slide it even when it is full to the toilet to empty it. I have an old plastic collander that I put on top of the pail before I pour off the water into the toilet to lighten the load before tossing it into the washer for a spin cycle, then wash. Mine gets heavy, so make sure you do a test run first involving only filling it half way with water, and having a husband on hand for back up. P.S. When you use a shower head to fill your pail, treat it like an infant in the tub, it may be boring to watch, but NEVER WALK AWAY. . . Trust me your bathroom will NOT look good with 2" if water in it. . .
