I would like to share some information I found last year on Clinton outboards.   The Clinton Engine Products Company still has many  new parts available for the old Clintons. I sent them a list of things I needed and they had everything on the list except ignition coils and the old red 3 gallon remote fuel tanks. They still had  gaskets, breaker point assemblies for $7.50 , fuel pump diaphrams $2.95 , fuel fitting that plugs onto the J8 & J9  and probably other models for $19.50 , water pump impellers $19.90 , reed valves $3.60. Even new piston rings and owners manuals. Am told ignition coils are available from  Discount Marine Parts at  phone # 906-466-2180
