I have found that using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or any other type of cleaning pad made from Melamine Foam moistened with nothing more than water is the safest and most successful method of removing dirt and even ink marks without damage to any of the doll's features. I have successfully used this method to clean numerous Barbie, Thumbelina and Furga dolls.
