Being from a merchant family and a merchant myself, Cola of any kind is #1 with everyone but the cutest and most conversational pair of earrings is a pair of Coca-Cola Classic Red and White Ones, made from the bottle caps.
1. If you can find the small glass bottles Coca-Cola with the red and white metal lid(some places still have them available) keep the bottle caps for your pair of future earrings.
2. Get an old pair of pierced earrings for a buck or so and make sure they are small ones with a flat surface.
3. Put the entire face of the small earring without the butterfly back(theearrings need to be flat not balls, and not large) Inside the back of the bottle cap, fill with hot glue from your hot glue gun. Make sure you hold it tight and straight until you have filled and the glue has set. Smooth the hot glue as it starts to set really even with the back of the earring using something flat like a popsicle stick, so that it does not extend past the back ruffled edges of the cap.
5. Leave the caps to set for about 24 hrs. Then touch the back of the post extended that will go thru your ear at the base where it meets the hot glue with some Crazy Glue for extra strength.
6. Let that dry for about 8 hrs. and add butterfly post to the back. You can use the plastic supports to hold them up on your earlobe. You then have one cute set of Classic Earrings that are sure to get compliments.
