Did You Know That Most Of The World's Greatest Literature Is Available In Electronic Format?

Yes...from Leo Tolstoy to Jane Austen, and from Edgar Rice Burroughs to Hans Christian Andersen, a large part of the world's most beloved and best known literature is available in Digital Format...entire, complete, and unabridged!  Fabulous, Out Of Print (OOP) libraries that once cost the earth to assemble, are now available for just pennies!

From Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, to L. Frank Baum's Wizard of OZ,
It is a simple matter to bring together the world's classics, without having to leave your own living room!

Entertaining, everlasting literature can be at your fingertips...from The Song of Hiawatha by Longfellow, to Frankenstein by Mary Shelley!  You can page through Aesop's Fables, or read the Iliad and The Odyssey.  You can check out Tales From 1001 Arabian Nights, or you can dip into Anna Karenina or War and Peace, if you have a  mind to immerse yourself in Russian History and the mind of Tolstoy.  Or you can leap into The Three Musketeers, or The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas.   Perhaps you would prefer something light and romantic, like Sense and Sensibility, or something dark and deep like Frankenstein or Dracula!

Whatever your tastes are, you will never run out of choices!

Mark Twain, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Bram Stoker, Edgar Allen Poe...you name the author, and we have the digital books!  Jack London, Anna Sewell, Charles Dickens, Daniel Defoe, Rudyard Kipling, Joseph Conrad, George Elliott, Washington Irving, Louisa Mae Alcott, Robert Louis Stevenson, Henry James, James Inglis, and hundreds more are available without having to run to your nearest lending library or Barnes and Noble!

Want to read historical, ancient texts by Julius Caesar, or Medieval tales from Geoffrey Chaucer?  Want to spend a night getting goosebumps reading The Legend of Sleepy Hollow or The Telltale Heart?  How about a little Christmas Ghost Story like A Christmas Carol?  Classic science fiction by Jules Verne or H. G. Wells?  Want to jump Through The Looking Glass or down the rabbit hole with Lewis Carroll?  Join Alice during her adventures in Wonderland?  Or follow J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan high over the streets of  London as he heads back to Neverland with Wendy and the Boys?

You can do just that, without having to go searching through your local library, or an expensive book store!

What are E-Books?

Electronic (digital) literature has been around for years...usually in the form of "How-To" books such as "How To Make Tour Own Perfume", or "How To Cook Chicken 5,000 Different Ways".  So, if some dude can tell you how to weave baskets or buy fresh veggies in an E-Book, why can't you get fine classic literature the same way?  Well, now you CAN!

Of course, many folks want E-Books that are nicely formated and have illustrations whenever possible...so those CD's you see on eBay from time to time that advertise "3000 Classic Books" on one CD are only for you if you want quantity rather than quality.  You get tons of great books...but in order to enjoy them, you have your work cut out for you!

You see, most of the old classics are now in the public domain, so online literary societies have placed plain text facsimiles of these great books online in hundreds of places on the Internet.  However, the text facsimiles are not formated for a nice, easy read.  You have to sort of "rearrange" everything so you can make heads or tails of it all.  Sentences end without punctuation, or run on into the next sentence without pause...chapters and line breaks are sorta messed up...spelling is often weird, because the wonderful hard-working folks who transcribed the books couldn't understand a certain word, or misread it.

I spent 22 hours reformatting  "Peter Pan" by J. M. Barrie so that my grandkids could enjoy it in pdf format with loads of illustrations.   I have done the same with the hundreds of other text e-books I have found, and the results are amazing!  My family loves these books!  I find illustrations that originally went with the novels, and insert these where they make the most sense.  Or I find classic drawings that fit the context, and use them.  In Black Beauty, I have added wonderful photographs of real horses to illustrate the novel!

I have taken hundreds of hours of time reformatting and adding artwork to many of these old classics, and eBayers who have bought them are ecstatic!  The most popular one lately is "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.  Kids adore Peter Pan and Black Beauty.  The OZ Books are very popular, as well...L. Frank Baum was a prolific writer, and we have many of his best OZ Books.

So...if you are ready to simply relax and read, hop by my eBay Pages, and check out some of the classics that are now on eBay.  You certainly won't regret it!

And SIMPLY ENJOY!
