I finally finished my 2nd book 1st edition Bluegrass Detour

As an author you always look for accomplishment on books to write and hopefully gain new readers. I became an author in august 2008, two months later I would become my own publisher. I'll admit I had doubts but I wanted something that was taken from me, my authorship on revenues from my first book Horticulture Avenues. AuthorHouse is selling that book right now, they get most of the revenue, this was my first book so I didn't know how it worked. This was my own fault, I have nobody to blame because I didn't investigate as I should have when Rhyne Publishing was opened. RHYNE PUBLISHING

I opened Rhyne Publishing in 2008 around mid october. I now control all power this includes book price and profit from those books. If there is any mistakes I get to blame myself. Bluegrass Detour is my first book through Rhyne Publishing. I designed book cover front and back, printed book on my HP 8000 (I get 20 books currently on 1 ink cartridge HP940XL). I designed my own spine title using comb binding system and clear labels printed from my printer. I purchased  puncher to bind books to comb binding. I also decided that laminated covers will last longer and look more professional. I'm currently working on my third book another plant book 100 pages (color photos and experiences from me personally are located inside this book).

Authors need to become their own publishers

Go get the license, cost=$39.99 this includes a license to print as well. I always had one question on my mind when I was dealing with AuthorHouse, "How can I become like AuthorHouse." So I went to my tax office and asked and the super nice manager told me I needed this license to be just like them. Could you imagine how my heart sunk to know I could do my own business without a third party involved. Do you know that my new book for only $10 "Bluegrass Detour" would still sell for $15 (once you pass 100 pages the price also changes) at another publisher house so they could get their $5 cut. Because I became my own publisher, I don't have to pass that off on you the reader. My company saves you $5 everytime you buy my book from me direct from the author.

Horticulture Avenues ***August 2008***  ((((My 1st Book as an Author))))

Plant book has 40 various plants, trees, palms, perennials and annuals with complete information on each. Get information on H2O, fertilizer needs, propagation, salt tolerance, dangers, hardi-zone, pot sizes, cost, freeze damage, pests and diseases and personal experiences. Family, Genus and Spiecies names are included on identity for your next pruchase local or nursery. When considering drought tolerant plants this book gallery shows a handful to plan your next bed or landscape. as far as dangers, every plant should be known. Most plants here in Florida are poisonous but a law was passed years back in which no posting of these dangers need associated. My book will list each plant danger so you'll know and never forget. If there was a lesson learned through experiences I listed those as well. When I listed propagation this will allow your new gardens to burst forth more plant location availability. I'm very proud of this book and hope you add it to your collection. I'm hoping this late year to publish a 2nd edition to this book with a new cover image (I can only use what I published and not what AuthorHouse contributed to this book).

Bluegrass Detour ***December 2008*** ((((My 2nd Book as an Author))))

150 pages, artists, bands, history, 2.500 songs listed by those artists, I personally selected book from my lists actually over ten years. I enjoy bluegrass music very much, this genre has pure music from those who lived through those songs, it's an importance through lived experiences either sad or hapiness. To understand these songs who have to understand the artists. My book will provide history and artist information. Not too many bluegrass books are currently on the market.

34 pages, religious morals, poem edition, my own published and copyrighted material. Book took one year to write. I'm very proud of this book.
