Below, are some of my favorite Christmas Albums.  You can't go wrong with any of these selections.  Also, if you're in need of some advice on buying Christmas music or are looking for a review of a particular album, feel free to email me.  I 'm the program director & head elf at ChristmasRadio.com and I have hundreds of Holiday CD's (@400, by my last count) and get more every month, so chances are I've heard the album you're curious about.

And remember, Christmas is a feeling in your heart, not a time of year!.

God bless,

---Art

SOME GREAT CHRISTMAS MUSIC:

Sinatra's A Jolly Christmas is a wonderful combination of both secular and religious classics, all of which are sung in a way that demonstrates Sinatra's true talent.  Simply put, no collection would be complete without this disc.

Dean Martin's Christmas with Dino (basically as reissue of his Making Spirits Bright CD) is an absolute gem.  It features songs from both his Winter Romance CD and his Dean Martin Christmas album, with the later never released on CD.  Dean's voice is the perfect match for the Holidays and only he could get away with calling Rudolph, Rudy.

Kenny G's Miracles-The Holiday Album is as sublime and pretty as snow falling on Christmas Eve.  Dim the lights and enjoy! (Actually, you can't go wrong with any of his Holiday recordings).

SheDAISY's Brand New Year is a collection of both great original Holiday songs, as well as some very creative takes on some old classics.  Their rendition of That's What I Want For Christmas is perhaps the sexiest Holiday song ever recorded.

Cindy Lauper's Merry Christmas...Have A Nice Life was a surprise gift when it was first released in 1998.  A truly inspirational work, filled with mostly original material, ranging from funk to pop, with a couple of beautiful ballands to boot!

Whitney Houston's One Wish: The Holiday Album is a wonderful effort, which shows why she became a superstar.  Who would Imagine A King is a standout, but all of the songs hit the mark.

Chris Isaak's Christmas is one of the Christmas albums you love to see...one made with love, not just thrown together for a quick buck.  His remakes of some classics are great ( Blue Christmas, for one), but what really shines are his original compositions.  Washington Square is a beautiful masterpiece.

Vince Guaraldi Trio's A Charlie Brown Christmas is an understated, jazzy work of art.  Beside terrific original composition, he puts his unique mark of some classics, such as his version of The Little Drummer Boy.
