After listening to many Christian CD's over the years, here are some of the best Christian Rock CD's I've come across.

1. Stellar Kart-We Can't Stand Sitting Down. Most songs sound like the Ramones doing Christian music.

2. Petra-Jekyll & Hyde. Their last studio album (maybe). If so, they finished with one powerful CD.

3. Guardian-Buzz. Grab this one quickly. It's their best and almost everyone of the CD's is a must have.

4. Switchfoot-Learning To Breathe. This one really got them noticed because of mainstream radio play. It doesn't disappoint.

5. Kutless-Kutless. Their first and best. Every song a winner.

6. Third Day-Wire. A lot of people associate these guys with Top 40 Christian music. This CD ends that thought.

7. Larry Norman-Only Visiting This Planet. This is the one that got Christian Rock off the mat. There are some ballads and softer songs. But, when this came out, there was nothing like it.

8. Guardian-Miracle Mile. As mentioned earlier, all of their albums could make this list. But, this one and Buzz are the ones to have.

9. Bride-Jesus Experience. Despite the controversial inside sleeve, this band lets it rip and really doesn't let up.

10. Disciple-Rise Up. Rockers and softer songs mixed together. But, the songs that are supposed to rock ROCK.

11. Thousand Foot Krutch-Phenomenon. Again, great songs from the beginning to the end.

12. Poor Man's Riches-Energy. These guys are an independent band out of Lexington, Ky. I know the word independent scares people but this CD has great sound quality and really showcases this band.

13. Petra-Beyond Belief. A great CD from my favorite band. Despite what many say concerning the "war" mentality of the opening song, the CD has some really great rockers on it.

14. DeGarmo & Key-To Extremes. Their last CD before they hung it up. They waited until the end to put out their most consistent piece of work.

15. Bride-Best Of Bride. I usually don't get into best of CD's. But, this one is very good and helps fill the gap in trying to find their CD's.

16. Red-End Of Silence. The song Breathe Into Me is a great song and the rest on this disc keeps pace.

17. Hawk Nelson-Letters To The President. What a breakthrough. It sounds like these guys are just having fun while worshiping God. Isn't that how it's supposed to be?

18. Decyer Down-End Of Grey. Again, a band that crossed over to mainstream. And, they deserve it. Great rockin' songs for Christ.

19. Skillet-Comatose. Their latest CD ranks up there with one of their best.

20. Skillet-Alien Youth. The title track alone is worth the price of the disc.

21. Kutless-Hearts Of The Innocence. Their latest offering showcases what this band is all about. Plus, there are some great rockers here.

22. Whitecross-Hammer & Nail. For those of you who like 80's hair metal, this is one of the best in the Christian Rock area. The lead singer sounds like the guy from Ratt.

23. Toby Mac-Momentum. Okay. This can fall under many areas. But, I put it here simply for the first two songs. As Toby says "Let's Get This Party Started."

24. P.O.D.-Satellite. I am going to end this list with two CD's by these guys. The first one, Satellite, was the one that really got the attention of those who didn't know what this band was about.

25. P.O.D.-Testify. Their last studio effort for Atlantic Records. And they gave them a proper farewell.
