What length snowboard do you need? The easiest way is to see where your board stands relevant to your chin. The chin is a good average height for your board. Taller boards (above your chin) are more for the downhill type of rider who loves the speed but doesnt do much carving so to speak because the longer the board the faster youll go, but youll have less manuverability. A shorter more wide and flexible board will give you more control and quickness in your turns and manuevers. That board is better for the freestyle type rider who lives at the terrain park and half pipe. So give some thought into your skill level and riding style before you buy your next snowboard. More
