This guide is meant to share some of our thoughts on choosing and caring for your GUND Plush.

 GUND - “The World’s Most Huggable”, is America's largest selling manufacturer of plush toys.    We have been selling GUND Plush at our retail store in Palmerton, PA named the Little Shoppe, for over 10 years and in our eBay store also named the Little Shoppe since 2001.    We chose GUND because of their outstanding reputation and great products.   

CHOOSING YOUR GUND PLUSH

Selecting an appropriate plush toy can sometimes seem difficult.   There are so many styles and products out there, but with GUND's fantastic selection of stuffed toys, they have made it so easy.

Each of GUND’s soft plush has a distinct personality, apparent in its facial expression and body language. These endearing characteristics of GUND soft plush make them friends for a lifetime and make children of all ages smile.

Searching eBay - Most people who buy plush toys on eBay, simply choose by first searching ebay for a product name, such as Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, Bear, etc.    We recommend you include the word GUND in your search.   This will ensure you a selection of the worlds finest products.

Buy Safely - While most sellers on eBay are good, reliable people, be aware there are some who will try to sell you used or immitation products.    To ensure a good experience on eBay, we recommend you buy only genuine GUND products from authorized GUND dealers.

Collector's Advice - If you are a serious GUND collector, always let the GUND dealer know and ask them to choose the very best item from their stock.    We say this because although mass produced, not all items are made exactly the same.    Some may have a slightly different appearance or expression or even coloration.   Let us know exactly what you are looking for and we will try to meet your needs to the best of our ability

CARING FOR YOUR GUND PLUSH

Cleaning Instructions - Always follow the cleaning instructions on the product label.     If your plush has removeable accessories, always remove them before cleaning.   If neccessary, clean them separately.   Surface washing is simple and easy, using a MILD detergent and WARM water applied with a CLEAN cloth.  Lightly BLOT the area to be cleaned.   DO NOT IMMERSE your plush toy in water !!    Rinse the cloth with clear water and again blot the area to remove the detergent.    To dry your plush, simply wrap it in a soft towel and give it a few squeezes and then allow it to air dry.    A hair blower/dryer can be used to dry your plush, but use only the WARM setting.   

Fluffing your GUND - Sometimes when you first remove your GUND product from its packaging, especially items sent by mail, it may have gotten a bit squished or matted.    The simple solution to this problem is to vigorously SHAKE the item to fluff up its coat or fur.   Obviously, if your plush has removeable accessories which might be damaged, remove them before shaking.
