It seems like there is a song to accentuate every color eye. “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison. “Blue Eyes” by Elton John. “Green Eyed Lady” by Sugarloaf. “Behind these Hazel Eyes” by Kelly Clarkston. Unless you have a top rated song artist able to walk around singing about your eyes, you might need a more reasonable way to highlight those peepers.
The key to matching eye shadow with your eyes is contrast. You want a color that is going to make your eye color pop, not the shadow. If you use the same color shadow for the exact same shade of eye, it’s going to look like you have two big color blobs in the middle of your face. Don’t believe me? Blue Eyes

People with larger eyes or larger area of exposed eyelids can use darker colors while smaller eyes benefit more from lighter colors.
