One of the most important things in choosing a Tarot Deck for yourself is to feel connected to the cards.

If you feel drawn to them in any way, wether it be the pictures - or the backs of the cards - some sort of connection is needed in order for you to want to pick them up and work with them.  An attraction if you will.

There are many new age stores that have decks open for you to see/view OR go online to a Tarot sight and look to see which cards you would like to have. 

Once you have the deck in your hand, view it.  Carry it around with you for a few days.  Pull a card a day and write that down.  See how the connection feels/works with you.  Pick a beautiful scarf/hankie/cloth to put you cards on when you are viewing them/reading with them. Choose a nice pouch, box OR keep them in the box they came in. Treat your cards with respect, care for them, keep them clean.  Have fun reading and exploring with them!
