There are dozens of choices for personal die cutting equipment on the market today . . . with this in mind, how do you choose? If you choose on price alone, you are bound to be disappointed. Afterall, there is some truth to the old adage that you get what you pay for. The first thing you need to do is determine what your expectations of you equipment will be. Consider these points:
1. How important is it to be able to do MORE than JUST die cut?
2. How important is versatility?
3. How important is durability?
4. How important is portability?

I feel that the Spellbinder Wizard offers the best answer to all of the above. The Wizard is designed to not only die cut, but also to emboss and stencil. You can use most dies, and even brass stencils, with the Wizard. Additionally, it can be used to texturize paper or art metals, to create window cards, to make scrapbook frames and windows, flatten bottle caps and set eyelets.

The wizard is built with steel, and is nearly impossible to break. I can't imagine what you would have to do to damage this little gem! The Wizard name brand dies are small, light-weight and extremely portable, yet they are made of steel, and extremely durable as well.

While the Wizard is admittedly heavy, it is small enough to transport to and from crops, and uses no electricity. A totally manual piece of equipment, use it anywhere, anytime. Dies can be stored in CD cases, and every regular die features multiple themed images for maximum value. Another popular way of storing dies in to put magnetic paper in page protector sleeves in a 3 ring binder. The dies remain in place due to the magnetic paper, and are easy to categorize, store and transport.

I know of no other equipment on the market that meets all of the above criteria!

The Wizard can use the dies and stencils you already own (from other manufacturers). The secret is in the building of the "Sandwich." Different Wizard elements are used to stack into a "sandwich" to accomodate dies of different thicknesses. It is also possible to use the Wizard dies in other die cutting equipment. While I don't have a list of compatible equipment, the thickness of the die is the secret to compatibility. The Wizard dies can be used in other equipment that uses dies of  the same thickness.

To order a Wizard, or Wizard brand dies, visit my eBay store at  http://stores.ebay.com/Midwest-Gifts-Crafts-Collectibles_, or email me for more information. I believe in this system completely, and will do whatever I can to help you fully understand it. Afterall, we want you to be able to make a completely educated choice in YOUR personal die cutting equipment!
