Choosing a Dell PC can be a challenging task. There are so many different types, dimension, optiplex, XPS, so which one do you choose and is one better than the other? Well Im here to help.
Here a simple layout for choosing a Dell Desktop PC:
Are a simple user - You use the computer for applications such as Word, Excel, Email, Powerpoint, maybe pictures.
Dell Dimension Desktops are perfect for you. You dont need an expensive dell even a $300 would be perfect. Entry level Dell PCs come with anywhere from 2 GHZ +, 128 MB Ram +, and maybe integrated extreme graphics, don't need to really worry about how big the hard drive is.
Are an average user - You use the computer for Games, Photoshop, Video Editing, maybe other tasks.
Dell Dimension Desktops are perfect for you too. But you need to look for the more intermediate/high-end dimension desktops. Such as ones with higher numbers these will contain a higher CPU speed more RAM. a bigger Hard Drive, and a better Graphics Card.
Are an experienced user - You know your computer, you play games at high resolution, heavily use photo software/video editing software, are very multimedia/graphics intensive and oriented.
You need a Dell XPS - The Dell XPS is their top of the line computer. If comes loaded with high-end processors, GBs of Ram, a large Hard Drive, and a top of the line graphics card. If you are in the gaming level you need a powerful Graphics card 128 MB or higher, and loads of RAM 1 GB or more.
I hope my explaining things a little helps anyone. Please let me know if this review if this review is helpful.
