Let me start by saying I have seen one of these up close. Yes it is true it's not even in the same ballpark as the actual Gibson.The actual Gibson is a work of art. But it does compare to the Chinese made Epiphones.That's right the Epi's were made in Korea at first then out of China toward the end of it's production. It does not have cheap parts like others are trying to lead you to believe. they are of the same exact quality that come on the Epiphones! And yes the pickups are not Dimarzio's, but most import guitars never come with high end pickups. I've owned the PRS Sanatana SE and it is an import guitar and it didn't come with high end parts. I had to change everything. Most everything is coming out of China now.

So to all the Ace Frehley fans out there I see nothing wrong in buying this guitar.As long as you don't try to resell it as the real deal. Most of you will probably hang it up for display and only play it from time to time.Most of you will be able to spot the differences right away. I will say this don't buy this guitar from any dealer trying to pawn it off as the real deal, It's not! Never pay anymore than $300.00 for this thing. Most people will never get their hands on the real deal unless Gibson brings it back again at a more reasonable price. This is the closest thing so far.
