             Chinese Animal Zodiac - DRAGON

THE FIVE TYPES OF DRAGONS [con't]

Fire Dragon - 1916, 1976, 2036
The most righteous, outgoing and competitive of all dragons, the Fire Dragon will expect a lot from everyone. But while he may be demanding and aggressive, he is also blessed with enormous energy and has a lot to offer in return. The Trouble is that he may go around with an air of superiority plus authority and make people fear or shy away from him. His leadership qualities are often marred by his desire to be treated like Messiah. Fire matched with his forceful lunar sign will give him overzealous and dictatorial inclinations. He pushes too hard even where there is little resistance.

In reality, he is an open and humane person given to impartiality and uncovering the truth at all costs. his criticisms are objective and he has the power to arouse the masses with his vibrant personality. A natural empire builder, he will look toward the supreme order of things, with himself at the helm, of course.

Because the Fire Dragon is often enveloped by insatiable personal ambition, he is short-tempered, inconsiderate and unable to put up with anything less than perfection. He also over generalizes or jumps to conclusions, frequently lumping people into categories without allowing for or even perceiving their individual differences.

Nonetheless, here is a performer of the highest degree who could easily be a source of inspiration to his fellowman and a public who will catch the public eye -- when he learns to master his negative traits and communicate more humbly with others.

Earth Dragon - 1868, 1928, 1988
This sociable, executive-type Dragon will have a compulsive drive to control his environment and the people who surround him. As a Dragon, he is bound to be autocratic and it would be a folly to expect less. However, he will be fair and appreciative of other people's opinions, even if he doesn't agree with them. EArth makes him realistic, stable and oftentimes, even a bit impersonal.

Although not as severe as the other Dragons, he will still have the basic urge to subjugate others. But he will approach problems with reason nd his leadership is less dictatorial. He works incessantly to develop his talents and exploit his resources.

The Earth Dragon's self-control does not mean that he is lacking in initiative. It's just that the Earth element influences him to be unhurried and his aspirations are more liable to be solid and uncluttered.

Straight as a rod, this aristocratic Dragon is quiet, strong and brave. Given to reflection and organization, his outbursts of temper will be few, nor will he demean himself by arguing with those beneath him when he is angered. However, he will retaliate quickly once his dignity is offended.

HOW THE DRAGON FARES IN DIFFERENT YEARS

Year of RAT
A lively year ahead for romance and pursuing business interests. Money will flow in but one bad deal could make a dent in the Dragon's resources. He will find it easy to relax and his overall performance will be good. No big problems confront him at home or at work.

Year of OX
A fortunate year for the Dragon. Although progress is moderate, he should consider himself lucky as the numerous disputes and troubles that go on around him will not affect him directly. A protected time in which he will not be involved in many difficulties and his family life will be free of interference.

Year of TIGER
A worrying and taxing time. The Dragon's plans are blocked by others and he finds it difficult to achieve desired results without much argument. He has to choose between bitters camps of opposing views and finds it hard to please his associates. Home is disturbed by sad news or the departure of some member.

Year of RABBIT
Calm returns to the Dragon's life in the year of the Rabbit. Fair progress can be expected as the winds of fortune blow on his sails again. His home life is more settled, although he could experience minor health problems. A stable time as no financial upsets or bad news await him.

Year of HORSE

He will find this year an uneasy time as real and imaginary worries beset him.

Year of SHEEP
The Dragon can only expect moderate performance during the Sheep's for his financial ventures and career advancement. Some health problems, but his family life is quiet. No upheavals or unwelcome changes in his environment.

Year of MONKEY
A mixed year for the Dragon. Progress can be foreseen in his career and financial understakings but he must not be deceived by favorable preliminary results or else he could get caught in legal tangles. Year of DOG
A difficult year for the Dragon, as unexpected problems arise from nowhere and plans go awry. A time in which he must try his best to avoid confrontation with his enemies or those who do not agree with his views. he could relive tension by changing his environment or dealing through trusted associates.

Year of BOAR
A good year as things go back to normal for the Dragon and luck shines through the dark clouds that hovered over him during the Dog's reign.
