I also purchsed two "e845" mics from a source in China. After recieving these I contacted Sennheiser USA and have verifyed that there is a problem with fakes on the market. The overall qualtiy of the mic initially got my attention, things as simple as the threading on the body to the wind sreen was course not clean as with the real ones. The capsule in one was not a Sennhiser capsule by any means, and the screw for locking the switch was nonfunctional. The sound quality is also not true and the info was not correct in there brochure.

Once again this country has seen fit to try and hurt real buisnesses by making poor copys at others expense.
