Chevrolet Trailblazer: 2008
For those of you who know about my Dodge Stratus, I will let you know that my favorite SUV has to be the Chevrolet Trailblazer. My mother has just purchased a 2008 model and loves it. I must admit that I do, as well. I have driven it a few times and find that its handling is as smooth as its appearance.
Safety
o Anti-lock brakes: I love this feature on all vehicles, but even more on this sport utility vehicle.
o OnStar to the rescue: My mother’s vehicle is equipped with OnStar, which is a helpful feature to have in case of emergencies when the cellular phone is absent, missing service, or nonexistent.
Interior
o Bland or conservative?: To some, the interior is totally bland, but in my opinion, the conservativeness is well-appreciated. The straightforward design places all the controls together, and each pocket, storage space, and cup holder has its own place within the cabin.
o Seating: The seats are comfortable, which proved to be a grand feature when my parents took me to school for my freshman semester. The 3-hour drive did not leave us with pain or discomfort.
Driving
o Around town: I constantly find this vehicle to be constant in its ability to move so smoothly around town and on the interstate. It drives like a dream. You do not need to worry about unusual noises coming from the hood or a bumpy ride.
o Ah, the mountains: Although SUV were developed for the avid adventurer, I must admit that the Chevrolet Trailblazer is jerky when faced with sharp corners or bumpy terrain.
