Thieves want to steal your Money! 2010 Camaro for $3000-Buy It Now!
How can you protect yourself from letting your emotions overwhelm your common sense? The information below will Guarantee you NEVER get ripped off again on Ebay!
We've seen it happen with Tractors, ATV's, Boats and Lawn Tractors, but the level of Scammism in Autos on Ebay is at an all-time high. Do the following and you'll never lose a penny on Ebay from Scammers and Cheats. They want your money, you want a DEAL, but brains have to win over dreams.
ALWAYS run an AutoCheck or CarFax on any vehicle. Subscribe to a 60-day unlimited use for under $30 rather than pay $14.95 for one report on one vehicle. This is especially important if you're not in a hurry to find a good deal on a car on Ebay and other website.
ALWAYS communicate with the seller through Ebay's email system. Scammers won't respond via Ebay (@ebay.com) and will use other email addresses. If you can't read their email response through Ebay's email system, don't buy it! Simple as that!
ALWAYS request additional photos of the vehicle. Scammers steal photos off the internet and normally can't provide additional fresh photos since they don't physically have the phantom vehicle.
ALWAYS demand a faxed copy of the Title so you can verify whether they actually own the vehicle and verify where the fax is sent from (US fax machine or overseas).
ALWAYS pay with a minimal deposit and hand-deliver the balance of purchase proceeds, only after receiving a signed bill of sale, faxed copy of the clear title and following all above rules. It reduces your chance of losses from scammers.
If you can buy a 2010 Camaro for $3000...DON'T DO IT!
