It finally dawned on me one day as I was shredding some personal documents before I threw them away and my son walked in with the mail. More junk mail every day I swear! Then it hit me...man..I have people sending me free packing material every day! I opened all that junk mail and shredded them all in my old paper shredder. Out came FREE strips of paper for packing my boxes! Of course, be sure you remove any personal info before shredding as you will want to use the OLD shredders and not so much those cross-cut shredders. Those strips of paper make a perfect bed for your fragile items. And don't throw out your old catalogs or magazines either! Tear pages out and shred like any document. Now instead of grumbling at the mailbox stuffed full of JUNK..I happily shred and bag my shredded paper for future use. Packing material can really add to your cost to ship. Cutting costs wherever you can really adds to your bottom line. And oh..before I forget... Don't forget to check out Selling Tools on EBAY and look up shipping supplies. The US Postal service sends flat rate or Priority boxes and/or envelopes to your home FOR FREE. You can even get the USPS boxes with EBAY on them. And they come right to your door! How cool is that?
