Changing a faceplate on a Nokia 6101, 6102, or 6103 cell phone can be difficult if you don't know what you are doing.
Step 1. Shut off the phone. You don't want to short anything out and damage the electronics.
Step 2. Flip open the phone and below the inside screen you will see a cover which curves over the hinge. There are two screws behind this cover so you will need to pry it off with your fingernails. It's held on with adhesive and will go right back on when you finish.
Step 3. Unscrew the two screws with a Torx T-6 driver.
Step 4. Pry the outside faceplate off with your fingers and replace it with the new faceplate.
Step 5. Screw the two screws back in. Be carefull not to tighten them too much. The covers are only plastic and can break.
Step 6. Put the cover back on and put a little pressure on it so the adhesive will grab again.
