One thing we changed in my household is rice. I usually cook rice with dinner and found a great alternative with more fiber and nutrients........barley. It has a great nutty flavor, cooks in half the time of rice (10 minutes) and is a great substitute for potatoes too. You will never tell the difference and neither will your family. I can eat rice all day but barley is better for you and tastes good too. Try it tonight and leaave me a message on how it worked or didn't work for you.
