Previous writings have properly lamented the excessive cost of shipping some sellers will place on their items, especially fishing reels. Challenge the seller on their shipping costs when they appear excessive and DO NOT allow them to decide what level of shipping you will receive. Sellers truly interested in this market will be flexible in the types of shipping and honest in what they charge. For those who refuse to sell with reasonable shipping then pass them buy. I regularly purchase reels and will by-pass a seller based simply on his shipping if the are not reasonable!
