Chad Jackson - WR Florida - Chad Jackson Jersey
Before getting drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2006 NFL draft, Chad Jackson played outstanding football for the Florida Gators. Although he received numerous incentives to stay in his home state of Alabama for college, Jackson wanted to play with the best. He managed to stand out from other superior Florida Gators players thanks to his incredible body control, speed, and threats down the field.
In 2005, he scored nine touchdowns and ran for 900 yards. At 6'1" and 206 pounds, Jackson is smaller and lighter than many wide receivers, and his lightweight stature shows in his blocking problems. That said, scattered reports suggest that if he can soup up his ability to run routes, he'll likely be able to plough through the majority of NFL defenders.
When talking about his potential, many Jackson fans point to a game he played against Wyoming, in which he scored three touchdowns. During the NFL scouting combine, he ran the 40 yard dash in just a little over 4.3 seconds, and he continues to showcase bravado to stir up his rivals.
He performed remarkably well in the Outback Bowl against Florida's mid-country rival Iowa, netting seven receptions. Despite some scrapes with former coaches Urban Meyer and Ron Zoak, Jackson has managed to forge forward and create the seeds of a potentially outstanding NFL career. Scouts see endless potential in him.
