Ceramic Swirl Art - The Best Toys of 2006

Ceramic Swirl Art may be an effective way to help children develop both their artistic skills and interpersonal ones. These small battery-powered devices are relatively simple to operate and are recommended for children aged 6 and up. With them, children are given endless possibilities and a world in which none of their original artistic creations will ever look exactly like the next.

What exactly is Ceramic Swirl Art? Created by Alex Toys, the system includes a small motorized machine on which users place a ceramic tile. Tiles come in a number of shapes, from simple circles to sculptured hearts. The motor spins the ceramic tile at a high speed, while the user can drip colored paints onto the tile through a small opening. This creates numerous colorful patterns that look different every time.

Once the painting is completed to the user's satisfaction, the ceramic tile can be baked in any conventional oven. This sets the colors in place, making the tile ready for display. Kids now have the opportunity to create colorful and original art pieces to give as gifts or display proudly in their rooms.

Entirely self-contained, the Ceramic Swirl Art device uses non-toxic ceramic paint. Additionally, it is equipped with a splash guard to avoid any messy accidents. Each package also comes with a number of different ceramic tiles, although additional tiles can be purchased separately. Finally, included ribbons and stands make it possible to display the finished tiles, whether hanging on the wall or by placing them on the mantel.
