Check them out on TOOLHAUS.ORG and Epinions.com = real eye opener.
Cellz4less are really horrible - They were the Mutual Withdrawal KINGS - that scam is gone now. Their real rating is currently hovering around 95% and dropping fast. Cellz4less will send you old, used, wrong country, locked, full of old names and information, foreign language, bad sim, scratched, false advertising pictures, broken, bad batteries, 3rd party charger - you name it they'll eventually scrape the dirt off of it and ship it to you. They stiff you with their extremely high shipping charges - take FOREVER PLUS A COUPLE MORE DAYS to ship (one guy said he tracked their shipping with a sun dial - made me laugh) and then don't refund the shipping either way when you're forced to return the unusable garbage they eventually send you - and that's only if you're lucky enough to find out it's garbage within their entirely ungenerous 14 day return period.... not to mention their re-stock fee... Now they've got this new thing going where they're adding in the own e-bay buying into their feedback to pump up their score - they've lost 5 feedback points since the 19th of May.
Update 12/22/07: It appears that a lot of the phones are breaking after folks leave positive feedback and are now being burned by Cellz4Less' 14 day guarantee. If it breaks or doesn't hold a charge or folks didn't know it was a foreign phone (a favorite ploy of Cellz4less - the one they got me with) and folks find out that it's bad 14 days after it's shipped - it's too-bad-so-sad.... Before E-Bay dropped the Mutual Feeback Withdrawal option - Cellz4less had 3,108 withdrawals - that would take them to 94% if those had counted.
Update 5/18/08: If you buy and they burn you, leave a negative safely after 5/20/08. They can't negative you back in retaliation like they have everybody who refused to withdraw up until now. And, if I'm reading the rules right, no more Mutual Withdrawals so their numbers will finally start to reflect the truth that they are a really bad seller. Also - don't mess with them through repeated e-mail and phone calls after your initial complaint - if they burn you - go to Paypal immediately and file. It's the only way you'll get all your money back - they have this restock scam going where they keep as much as 20% of your money so they win either way and/or they'll try to hide behind their 14 day guarantee period. Even if they claim it's over 14 days - go to Paypal anyway for a chargeback. 14 days for a cell phone isn't reasonable and they also use fake tracking number between their two facilities which pushes the date out for the buyer even more. See Toolhaus.org and Epinion.com - all the bad news in two easy to read areas.
