The Car Mount Antenna Repeater has been one of the best selling cell phone
accessories, since we opened our store. Due to its popularity, I've decided to
write a review for this alternative solution to switching providers, to get
better reception.
The Car Mount Antenna Repeater works on 6 dBi, 800, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz, and both digital and analog cellular phones, so you can use it on any provider such as Verizon, Cingular, AT & T, T-mobile or
Alltell. It is very easy to install with no screwing or latching, which makes it perfect for your car, mobile home, RV or boat.
To install:
- Peel off the white backing paper from the bottom of the antenna.
- Place the antenna on a clean surface outside your car like the
windshield. If you are planning to place it above the trunk lid, make sure
you have enough clearance, and the antenna doesn't get damaged when you open
your trunk. - Remove the white backing paper from the sensor box.
- Place the sensor box anywhere inside your car. Make sure that the sensor
box for the antenna repeater is within 4 feet from the antenna. I think it
works best when it's close to the antenna. Since both the sensor box and
antenna come with a strong adhesive bottom, for easy installation, I found
it easy to place it behind the rear passenger seats, or mount it right under
the rear windshield inside the vehicle.
