The watchdog group CSICC and CSP in the Hong Kong Philatelic Society has been monitored FAKE Hong Kong, China stamps and covers posted on ebay for quite sometime. We have noticed that recently, there have been many fake covers particularly those franked with RED REVENUES, DOWAGER ISSUES, LARGE and SMALL DRAGONS on red band covers coming from sellers said to be from China. Some are very obvious, others are skilled forgeries. Needless to say, buyers must take them to recognize stamp expertisation agencies for certification. When in doubt, always ask the seller BEFORE YOU BUY to guarantee a refund if the item is not right. The axiom is What looks to good to be true often is......Buyers beware.
