Did you know that the Post Office does not scan every package that has a "tracking" number on it? I have refunded more than $800 because the Post Office did not scan my items or used "duplicate" tracking numbers. I experienced varying scenarios that are very costly.
When I contacted Paypal about the "tracking" feature included in Paypal Shipping, I found that many people are experiencing the same problem. Since it is "systemic", I want to know why Paypal has not included a warning about the risk.
Trying to communicate with USPS sends one in a vicious circle. Enter the tracking number online and you get useless information. Call the 800 number and it directs you to the online feature for the information. Contact USPS by email and you get referred right back to the online information.
Last week I called the Post Master General's Office. At least I got contact information for USPS Consumer Relations in San Diego. Contacting them is an exercise in futility.
Call this number to get Consumer Relations in San Diego (858) 674-2670.
I will be writing a certified letter to the Post Master General. I will also write Paypal/Ebay.
