Boutique Crochet Clothing
A boutique crochet item takes many hours to complete. Washing one of these items incorrectly can distroy (a handmade) boutique item. Drycleaning is a great option to cleaning crochet items. But Cold water is recommended to wash your items in
You can use a mild soap, baby shampoo, or mild shampoo for your crochet items. Some items made with cotton or stronger synthetic fibers can use stronger soap.
Handwashing your item and laying it flat to dry is the best way to care for your boutique item. However stronger yarn can be washed on the delicate cycle.
Please remember when removing your item from the water or washer to remove as much water as possable (DO NOT TWIST or stretch ). The best way to remove water is to put the crochet item down on a towel and roll it up in the towl(with the towl not allowing the crochet item to touch. Then roll it back out and lay it flat to dry on a dry towel. Make sure it is completly dry.
Most crochet work should not be put in the dryer. The dryer shrinks the yarn.
