Keep your silver in a cool, dry place and avoid contact with bleach or ammonia. Sterling silver like other precious metals, it can be oxidize with time. If sterling silver become tarnished, it is easily restored to its original gleam by using a paste, liquid polish or a treated polishing cloth (specially for use on silver). Or you may simply wash that with warm water, rubbing a little soap or toothpaste and rinsing it, then putting dry with a fine soft cloth. Remember aviod using tissue paper or paper towels as they can scratch the silver
