The DaVinci Code is gripping and suspenseful, fiction at it's best. Dan Brown is a master storyteller and has the ability to seamlessly blend fact and fiction. This novel sucks you in like a black hole from the very first chapter and keeps you there until the last. The short chapters are great for those of of who just have a few moments at a time to devote to reading such as a half-hour lunch break or an hour during baby's nap. I was reminded of one of my favorite authors, James Patterson, with the short chapters, twisting, turning and never knowing what's going to happen next. I must say I've began to question religon and the ideas I was taught as a child as a result of this book. How can fiction have such an influence you say? You've got to read it to believe it.
Even if you don't believe the possiblities this book presents, you're up for a fabulous and captivating story.
