Canon really improved the term "simplicity". This camera has excellent resolution and not any of the problems you will find on an Easy Share. This camera does not turn itself on if you keep it on your pocket. Also, you dont need to download or install anything to retrieve the pictures taken or the video shot. You can even use 3rd party program to synch your computer with this camera.
Mini USB cable included makes everything even easier to use.  5.0 megapixels are more than you actually need for quite a good photo.

The self built menu is easy to use. You dont need to read the instructions to use this camera. Its all" there".
