Heads up kids:
This little wonder gadget for remotely firing your strobes, at a fraction of the cost of Pocket Wizards, has a fatal flaw if you own a 5D.

I've shot many many photos with my radio slave unit with the 10D and 20D and the 1Ds cameras with no problem.
Bought a 5D, brand new, went and shot a whole bunch of portraits, and found that the transmitter fired back enough voltage to disrupt the camera a bit.
All along the top edge of the images was a band of serious digital noise. about 90 pixels deep, and running the entire length of the long edge.
Watch Out!
