Please, when burning candles, keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before lighting and if you are starting up a new candle that did not come in a container; the tighter the fit the longer the candle will burn. If you are burning TEA LIGHTS that came in Plastic holders, Please do not put the candle in the plastic holder within another candle holder. Please make sure to burn them on a firesafe dish, like ceramic. I have had a few people complain about the plastic holder melting or catching fire. When i further researched the issue, the individuals that were burning them were going against recommended burning techniques. If you decide to burn against instruction and common sense and physics then be prepared for an undesirable outcome. Please do not blame the person you bought it from.
