PartyLite candles from Colonial Candles of Cape Cod are the finest candle around. Their tealights come in a clear up and are raise on the bottom for air circulation. To turn a tealight, it is best to clip the wick 1/4 before lighting and burn just once. It will last 4 to 6 hours each. Relighting a tealight is not recommended, because they could flare and safety is the most import thing when using candles.

Their votives are wonderful coming in so many different fragrances. You can store your unburned candles (before hand) in your drawers as a nice fragrance for your clothing. When using a votive it must be place in a proper votive cup, because they liquify totally. Votives burn between 8 to 10 hours each. The difference between the votive and tealight is the votive can be relite a number of times. DO NOT BLOW A VOTIVE OUT, SNUFF IT OUT. BLOWING A CANDLE OUT COULD BLOW A TINY EMBER TO START A FIRE, PLUS IN BLOWING OUT THE CANDLE YOU MOVE THE WICK TO THE SIDE THAT COULD BREAK YOUR FINE CANDLE WARE.

Pillar are usually burned by the hour. For each inch across the pillar is burn 1 hour. They also should be be snuffed out.... and clipped to 1/4 inch before lighting.

THE ONLY CANDLE THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE ITS WICK CLIPPED IS THE 3 WICK CANDLE. THEY SHOULD BE LEFT LONG BECAUSE OF THE VOLUME OF THE WAX NEEDING A LARGER FLAME. A 6X8 SHOULD BE BURN EACH TIME 5 TO 6 HOURS because it is 6 inches wide.

AS a PartyLite candle burns the fragrance will fill the room. The fragrance is mild and not over powering, like a slip under a dress... The gift ware that Partylite sells usually can be used in several different way to give it a new look .. more importantly is tested to use with candles.
-
The wax that is used in a PartyLite candle is a low temperature burning wax and does not burn as hot as many candles in the market and their wicks DO NOT contain LEAD.
