MAJOR UPDATE: 5/6/09: Game Stop lost a case with the postal service that DVDs are media mail.
There is fine lines in media mail it is really a grey area. Also subject to what your post office you go to & which employee you get.. Like the 1 here is already saying to me has to be used for educational purpose. I think Nintendo games are educational. Go on the USPS website for updates & eBay in certain caterogies has already start putting up a red flag. So be cautious on shipping I have changed for now.
The answer to that is YES the USPS Media Mail is long out dated. They Have CD-ROM listed as a Media. What are Vintage games like NES,Genesis,Atari,& etc... They are ROM memory chips on the inside of the cartridge. The cartridge is just a block disc or chip.
If you even research the Nintendo NES system on eBay they have it listed as a Media Type Console just like a computer.
So if you ever had any worries about shipping games Media Mail don't it is computer readable materal just a different version. Which makes it media mail I will agree the point with anyone on it.
If it helped at all click yes for me. Also when you list a system it comes up media type it is confusing.
We will just see how long the crackdown last for & it will pass.
