If you are looking for a specific book for the class you're taking, there are two ways to search for it. Most of us just type in the title and weed through the results to see if there is anything useful, but what if there was a way to pinpoint the exact edition and author you need for that class starting next month.
Try asking your professor or other administrator at your school what ISBN number the required book has. Type the number in the search bar and if there is a seller with that book, it will come up! Oh, don't forget to check the box that says search in title and description...as this will bring up more results.
BEWARE; sellers sometimes list an ebook or book on cd under the ISBN number for the actual book so READ READ READ the item description thoroughly and if you are still unsure ASK ASK ASK the seller. (It is against ebay policy to list an isbn number in an auction for anything other than the physical book the isbn represents so if you come across this REPORT IT so we can all have a good buying and selling experience on ebay and cut down on misleading ads!)
Now it will be harder to miss listings, even if the titles are misspelled or worded wrong.
Another great search is by the author's last name. You may need to weed through some, but you may find some you missed. Again, don't foget to check the box to include searching within item description.
