Most of us was awked by the single performance from Kobe Bryant.  His 81 points is definitely the best one in the NBA.  Wilt Chamberlain had more time and more field goal attempts to get his 100 points.  But the question remains: Will there be another performance like the one Kobe had? Will Kobe tops his own performance? In my opinion, Kobe probably can top his performance anytime soon.  I suggest that you should buy all the Lakers' season tickets now before it's too late.  However, I want to point out that not only Kobe can score more than 81 points in the near future but there are other stars in the NBA right now that I think could top that performance.  The first person that came to my mind is Tracy Mcgrady.  Yeah, you might laugh at this notion now but you will believe me when he scores over 81 points.  I did not come up with this prediction without any facts.  Tracy had a career high of 62 points in 3 quarters in Washington not too long ago 03/10/04.  If it wasn't for his back problem, Tracy probably had his career high this season.  Another player is Allen Iverson.  His current ppg. speaks for itself.  Lebron James might be able to do it in the near future.  Gilbert Arenas is questionable but it is not out of his scope.  For now, we can only look at Kobe's performance as an inspiration for greatness in the NBA.  Anything is possible now aday.
