Shooting with a medium format is great. The negative format is 6 x 6, the quality will make you so happy, better than digital. On E bay you can find affordable medium format.Especially twin lenses as Yashica, but how to make sure to get a good deal? Ask the right questions, is it clean, does it work to all speeds, how old is the camera, of course some won t know anything about cameras so what to do? Find out about the subjest as much as you can, especially if you know little.Taking photos with a twin lenses camera is great, but remember there is no prism when you look via the viewfinder, so as a beginner it is advise to use a tripod. It is better to get a twin lenses that take film 120 (12 exposures) or/and 220 films. You will pay about 4 dollars for a film 120 of 160 asa, you can even buy a color film and have it processed black and white.I went to Paris and used my Yashica D, the photos are great. Sure I forgot, you will need a light meter if the camera doesn t have any. So if you decide to go medium format, you won t regret it, of course it can be a bit pricy for the processing, so do not shoot crasy. :)
